Having recently completed Tomb Raider 2013, yes Tom's been playing that game on and off for a while, he thought it was the perfect time to check out its sequel, 'Rise of the Tomb Raider' right around the time that the sequel to that game, 'Shadow of the Tomb Raider' has been released. Needless to say, Tom's got plenty of catching up to do!
What's your favourite GTA game? For Tom's money, it's Vice City.
Join Tom as he scratches the itch for virtual criminal activity and 80's vibes...
OVER 18's ONLY! ;)
It's a Tom Plays first, we play a wrestling game! The most recent in fact (until the next yearly update is released), WWE 2K18!
Tom jumps into the MyPlayer mode, where he creates a new wrestler and joins wrestling boot camp before heading off to appear on NXT, sadly though, Tom finds little in the way of actual wrestling in this mode, instead confronted with short snippets of gameplay and plenty of load screens.
He does however play a proper match nearer the end of the video and is happy to report that the actual Wrestling is top notch and looks fantastic!
NOTE: It would seem none of the in-game music plays back when streamed! That's pretty interesting, sorry about that, had no idea - Tom
Tom has been persuaded by his podcasting buddy Mat to give Yakuza another another try, if only as a way to see how the genre of cinematic story driven adventure games have progressed since 1999's landmark, Shenmue.
From this hour-long play from the beginning of the game, Tom has come to the conclusion that, in Yakuza, the cutscene is king!

For the first time ever Tom Plays goes against tradition and features a game twice! It is Shenmue though...and if any game deserves two episodes Shenmue had to be it!
Also this video exists, in part, as an apology for the last video, which, due to a terrible internet connection, made for a rather ugly live stream...we pre-recorded this one just to make sure it looked good!
Plus, Tom's not alone this time and brings Gareth into the fray once more! The two share the same fondness for the game and, having played it numerous times together previously, have plenty to talk about!
Join Tom as he experiences one of his all-time favourite games for the umpteenth time, only on this occasion he's playing it on PS4!
Yes, Shenmue, the Dreamcast classic is now available on modern gaming platforms and it still plays as well as it ever did.
So sit back, relax and enjoy the beginning of Ryo Hazuki's quest to hunt down his father's killer and avenge his death...and play lots of Hang-On!
One of the defining games of the original Sony Playstation had to be Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. It proved to be a very popular game when it was released back in 1997 and it's since become somewhat of classic with many gamers having fond memories of it.
In 2014 the game was re-released in a brand new version, called New 'n' Tasty! Tom's been meaning to get stuck into Oddworld for some time, having missed out on the Playstation original at the time.
So here he is, getting to grips with New 'n' Tasty, enjoy!
Tom was one of those who wasn't convinced by No Man's Sky when it was first released, however after ending up with a copy, the game that divided it's audience seems to have him hooked...
Now excuse me as I go and mine some more carbon...
Join Tom as he enjoys some Titanfall 2 Campaign Mode. Tom's a little late to the party with this one, having only previously completed the first Mission.
We pick up the action as Jack Cooper and BT-7274 take a shortcut and end up in a strange facility and come head to head with the villainous 'Ash'.
Sorry about the distinct drop in visual quality near the end of the stream, it seems I was having some internet issues at the time.
This one's been a long time coming! In this episode of Tom Plays, Tom finds it hard to believe that he's never featured a Worms game in this series of videos, so he sets matters straight and plays some Worms W.M.D!
Things start off on the slow side until a random match-up results in an epic series of battles against Tom's new Worms rival Iuan.
Iuan takes an early lead, but the final match between the pair is as intense and closely fought as they come!
In celebration of the release of Sonic Mania Plus, Tom plays the game!
Tom's no stranger to Sonic Mania having enjoyed the original game upon it's release back in August 2017, it's nearly been a year!
We take a look at what's new in this 'Plus' version by trying out the new 'Encore' mode which mixes up the original 'Mania' mode quite a bit. So sit back, relax and enjoy!
Disclaimer:
Tom accidentally turned the audio on his mic off around 3 mins into the video and it does not resume until around 35 mins in. Tom's terribly sorry as he waffled on about the game for sometime before realising what had happened...
Join Tom as he continues to play through 'Dream Alone' a puzzle platformer with a horror theme from indie developer, WarSaw Games.

Sorry if this isn't the most exciting stream to watch, I was surprised that I couldn't even beat the first level, that first Boss is sooo tricky! - Tom
It's hot out! Time for some Windjamming! Whatever that is..?
Turns out Windjammers is a sort of Tennis/Frisbee hybrid and it's really fun! The game was originally released in 1994 and appeared in arcades and on Neo Geo home systems, while it did have a release on the Wii's Virtual Console in Japan, the PS4 is certainly the most fully-featured version and the most accessible.
It's obvious to see how this game has influenced titles like Mario Tennis, It's extreme, fast-paced one on one fantasy sports action, let's jam!
Join Tom as he gets stuck into the Online side of the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. He's experienced some lag previously, so isn't holding out hope it'll be any better this time...although he's pleasantly surprised as it turns out, the Online aspect of Anniversary Collection is working a charm (mostly) and it's the next best thing to being at an Arcade, a new challenger awaits!
In this edition of Tom Plays Tom is joined by Claire to attempt a play-through of Golden Axe...then Golden Axe 2...and lastly Golden Axe 3.
Here's the thing, they keep failing and moving onto the next one.
However, you lucky viewers get to compare and contrast all 3 games in one video and see a relationship stretched to breaking point as Tom constantly and accidentally attacks Claire's character on screen...
